Anupam Kher’s character, IB Chief Raghavendra Rajput, convenes a conference with select officials to discuss the Indian Prime Minister’s security concerns in the opening scene of the movie. According to Raghavendra Rajput, the merciless criminal Tiger Nageswara Rao (Ravi Teja) is a threat to the prime minister. Police officer Vishwanath Sastry (Murali Sharma) tells how Tiger Nageswara Rao turned into a criminal. The other side of the dacoit is depicted in the second hour of the movie.

In mainstream cinema, biopics are in fact somewhat risky. But the filmmakers of Tiger Nageswara Rao shocked everyone by creating a movie about the dacoit Tiger Nageswara Rao. The amount of work put into the research is remarkable. This historical action drama has good detailing. What exactly turned Tiger Nageswara Rao into a criminal? How did he carry out the atrocities so deftly? How did he come to be a headache for the whole police force? Everything has been presented extremely cleanly.
As an actor, Ravi Teja has never disappointed, and he gives the movie his all. He successfully assumed the role of Tiger Nageswara Rao, and his performance was outstanding. It’s never simple to portray a character who is gray-shaded, but Mass Maharaja accomplished it with the utmost conviction. He gave the movie his blood, sweat, and tears.
The acting of Anupam Kher, Jisshu Sengupta, and Nassar was excellent. In her short role, Renu Desai did well. Both Gayatri Bharadwaj and Nupur Sanon meet requirements. Their contributions were crucial to the plot as well. The first half of the movie was quite intriguing and engaging. The animosity between Harish Peradi, Jisshu Sengupta, and Ravi Teja was thoroughly demonstrated.
Minus Points:
Although there were some positive moments in the second half, the main issue is the excessive running duration. There was a lot of discussion about this before the release, but sadly, the runtime limited the impact. Although there are some strong emotive blocks, the stretched and exaggerated action blocks dilute them. The producers should have toned down the harshness because the extreme violence would offend some viewers.
The second hour of the story is uneven. The second hour shows Nageswara Rao’s atonement, whereas the first hour shows how he committed atrocities. The film also discusses Stuartpuram’s reputation as a violent location and how its citizens were denied chances to advance in life. The scope of this was actually quite broad, however as has already noted, the extended action blocks exceed the positives.
Since biopics’ reliability is still up in the air, it is preferable to remove a few unnecessary details. If certain delicate subjects are raised, there will be an uproar. It seemed a little over the top when Tiger Nageswara Rao broke into the Prime Minister’s mansion and the Prime Minister stood by him until the very end. There were much too many artistic licenses used.
