The Vivo V29 5G is scheduled to be released in India soon. The device was released globally in August and is now expected to arrive in India alongside the Vivo V29 Pro. The handsets’ specifications had already been leaked. The phones have now been formally teased, with several critical elements of both the base and pro variants exposed. The corporation may have also hinted at a possible debut date.
Vivo’s official website has teased the V29 models. The phone is available in three colors: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. According to reports, the red color option would have a color-changing rear panel. Although the firm did not specifically indicate the debut date, a remark on the landing page’s ‘Know More’ section reads, ‘Stay Tuned, Until we meet on October 4.’
The handsets will have ultra-slim 3D curved AMOLED displays. The base and pro models are stated to weigh 186 and 188 grams, respectively, and have a thickness of 7.46mm. The phones will also include a Smart Aura light.
The Vivo V29 model, like the worldwide variant, is rumored to have a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (2800 1260 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will most likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with an Adreno 642L GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It will come with FuntouchOS 13, which is based on Android 13.
The handset’s cameras will include a 50-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel camera on the rear, and a 50-megapixel camera on the front. It will have an IP68 rating as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will include a 4,600mAh battery and capability for 80W rapid charging.
