The actor announced the movie’s release date along with the poster.

Jiiva will play the part of the late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, and Mammootty will play his son, YS Jagan.
The Mahi V Raghav-directed filming is currently taking place.
Release Date
Yatra 2 will be launched on February 8, 2024, the same day that the original Yatra was released, five years ago, in 2019, and is produced by Shiva Meka in collaboration with Three Autumn Leaves and V Celluloid.
The first section of “Yatra” focused on the late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy; the second part is a biography of YS Jagan, who was his son.
He received the Best Actor award for his work in the critically praised movie Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery.
He has appeared in more than 400 movies thus far. Some of Mammootty’s top movies include “Adiyozhukkukal,” “Aavanazhi,” “Valsalyam,” “Ponthan Mada,” and “The King,” among many more.
